Our Operational Manager, Gareth Hayes, took up paragliding for his midlife crisis 40th birthday. Since then he has fallen in love with the skies and flies a lot around Donegal.

His dream of paragliding off the roof of Africa to raise rooves over the street kids in Africa is now in sight. 

With the help of paraglideKilimanjaro.com, an organisation who take expeditions up Mount Kilimanjaro to fly off the top, have accepted Gareth on the team in March 2024.

We, as an organisation, would love to raise the height of the volcano in Euros. That equals €19,340 or more. With your help we think this would be a great achievement that would help change the lives of so many children.

For over 20 years I have suffered with kidney disease and even lost a kidney in the process. Some days energy is low and life’s goals can seem so hard to reach, but with the right frame of mind and help, I believe you can achieve great goals in life.

Now that I have the all clear from the Doctor and training has begun, I really look forward to accomplishing my dream of flying off the roof of Africa.

Hope is a powerful word and it means a lot in my life. Being able to help others find Hope and see their lives changed has been one of the greatest joys in my life.
